Rico has overcome his nonconstructive past to become one of the UK's hardest working artists. "I've always kept a positive outlook on everything & have realized that all things have reasons behind them. What ever you go through can shape you as the person you are today. It can either make you weaker or in my case, stronger and more determined to succeed".

Ricos musical talent was really endorsed when he was recruited to play Baritone/Brass for the Moseley Park G.M School Band, Which took him on tour through out most of Europe, covering countries such as France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Holland and Italy.

Ricos love for music flourished immensely & as a truly gifted Individual he decided to embark upon his own solo career. Rico would spend hours upon hours within his recording studio perfecting and creating unforgettable music that would play with your sensual emotions, making you laugh, cry or even reflect on lifes simple ironies. "I always have fun when Im in the studio! I never take make myself too seriously, I just want people to feel good when ever they listen to my music"- Says Rico.

Rico Levants musical flavours were soon creating a steer within the music industry after appearing as a supporting act to national & international artists such as Joe, Ginuwine & Damage at Shepards Bush Empire in London plus featuring on road shows & festivals up and down the country.

Rico produced & arranged 98% of Tru-Fam Records debut mixtape album release 'THE WRECKONING - EPISODE 1', which has gained the attention of some of the biggest players in the music industry,

From being requested to work with UK artists - NChyx, Steela, Syrona ma'rie, A Dot (Black Parana), Sweden Artists - Rock the Beat, Nalija, US artists - Trel Mack, GT, Bam & plus many more, to write songs for U.S multi-platinum selling artist USHER. Rico was also picked out the myspace bunch to be featured in the spot light as one of the hottest R&B artists on myspace by "Myspace - The Hook Up".

Rico was also No.1 on the Myspace independant R&B chart for a while.
